
Interview about Iran’s philosophical contribution and its place on the philosophical map of the world

Prof. Reza Davari is an Iranian philosopher and the president of the Iranian Academy since 1998. He was the editor-in-chief of many Iranian scientific journals. His academic career is related to the publication of 50 books in the sphere of philosophy and of more than 700 articles an conferences, seminars and different journals. More than 40 books and articles by prof. Davari are translated into English, Russian, Arabic, French and other languages. He has also occupied management positions in higher education and in culture in Iran. He was the director of the Iranian national commission for UNESCO between 1980 and 1982.
